In 1989 Dr Pyke developed TSLOPE3 for three dimensional
analyses of soil and rock slopes, partly in response to a need
for realistic stability analyses of land fills in Southern California.
Renamed as TSLOPE v2 in 2010, TSLOPE is now able to analyse
both 2D and 3D problems.
TSLOPE is essential software for limit eqilibrium stability analyses. It
has been designed as a general purpose program for use with:
- slopes with any of the following: complex geology, variable topography,
3D effects associated with excavation shape
- land fill design
- open pit mine design
