TCON is a computer program for computing consolidation settlements caused by surface loadings and the rates of these settlements. It allows radial as well as vertical drainage, and provides the capability to simulate sand or wick drains. NB: there are occasionally some convergence problems with vertical drains, a problem currently under investigation.

The Java based version of TCON contains all the functionality of the previous PC-versions together with a new user-friendly graphical interface.

The quick guide is organized around the menu headings of the Java applet (client). Data input generally proceeds along the following steps. You may however return to menu items at any time.
